Client Services & Events Manager

Madeleine serves as the Client Services and Events Manager for Legacy Planning Group.

In 2015, Madeleine graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. During her time as an undergraduate, Madeleine was actively involved in numerous organizations, including: Vice President of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha; Ambassador for the Rawls College of Business and Chancelor Kent Hance; President of Mortar Board, an organization consisting of the top 50 seniors at Texas Tech; and was nominated for 2014 the Homecoming Queen Court.

After serving as the Information Specialist for the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, Madeleine found the freedom to follow an exciting new path – a career in the Financial Services Industry. She went on to serve as a Financial Services Representative for Fidelity Investments, where she developed a deep discipline for exceeding client expectations while providing consultative investment and financial planning guidance. In April of 2017, Madeleine joined her father at Legacy Planning Group. Madeleine and her father specialize in helping individuals create and follow successful retirement strategies. Madeleine feels like she has truly found her passion – helping clients reach their financial goals.

Madeleine maintains several securities registrations held through LPL Financial, including her Series 7, 66, and 63. She has attained a Life, Accident and Health Insurance License. Madeleine is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor through the College for Financial Planning. Madeleine is constantly working to expand her investment knowledge, so she will continue to be a great resource for her clients. 

Madeleine enjoys giving back to her Community. In 2021, Madeleine was one of the top 3 nominees for "Volunteer of the Year" for McKinney, Texas. She is a member of the Women's Alliance of McKinney, serves as the Chair for the McKinney Chamber of Commerce an Ambassador program, and is the current Civic Duties At-Large Chair for McKinney Young Professionals Advisory Committee.  In 2019, she had the privilege of managing the marketing and public relations for Relay for Life of McKinney. In addition, Madeleine is honored to be a current member of the Leadership McKinney Class of 2020. 

Madeleine's hobbies include spending time with her husband, Tyler Underwood, and rescue boxer dogs. Tyler is an attorney with McKinney East. They purchased their first home together in historic downtown McKinney in March 2021. They love spending time with their rescue dogs, Shrimpy and Dorothy.
